A pitched roof conversion to an existing external plant deck at a retirement village

Significant obstructions are in place on the concealed deck requiring a clear spanning solution to be developed. Light gauge steelwork base beams clear span over the entire deck and support the new pitched roof steelwork to give the desired solution with minimal interaction with the existing structure, the fewest possible connection points and no penetrations through the deck itself.

The area below remains a live, watertight environment throughout the construction period.
